Please understand we are trying to keep the DCEvo network as legal as possible, there is 'grey area' content already available, we've been open publicly about it, it was done for a reason, and we do not need to nor want to go any further down that line.

DCEvo supports indie DC software, we are well aware that Bleemcast is in itself indie, but we haven't even got the leaked beta on the site. That's a decision we made a long time ago out of respect for Rand Linden. Unless Rand gives us permission to host Bleemcast (that includes beta versions or full versions), we will not host or link to anything to do with leaked or hacked Bleemcast software.

Perhaps I didn't make it clear enough, we do not need nor want to go further down that line, that means no direct or indirect links to warez.

We have been there before, we all own legitimate copies of Bleemcast, there's nothing to prove, there's nothing to gain. If Rand Linden wanted the DC software out there, he for one wouldn't need crass filesharing sites, forums, or even DCEvo for that matter. Rand Linden was a class act as far as coders go, and for that, the DCEvo network respects him.

We are in contact with homebrew coders and independent software distributors, we aim to promote Dreamcast independent software in public in the near and distant future, we do not want to jeopardize that for just another commercial ripped disc.
